Abraham Denjamin de Villiers, aka AB de Villiers, is one all round cricketer. apart from being a batsman capable of making runs on all kinds of surfaces, electric fielding and wicket keeping are other facests of this Pretoria born South African cricket player. he also has 2 wickets in tests as well! 5 feet 10 inches in height, AB de Villers chose cricket over many sports he was good at, played under-19 world cup 2002 and progressed to International cricket almost instantly. First South African to score a double century against India, AB de Villiers' contribution proved vital in Protea's biggest test series win, against & in Australia in 2008. Previously seen a wicket keeper in waiting to vetern Mark Boucher, AB de Villiers has now cemented his place in South Africa cricket team as one of their premier batsman and has already expressed his intentions to become world's best.
