Cricket-Passion-Love-Mumbai.jpg Itsonlycricket.com is committed to bring all kinds of information for fans around the world. Profiles of cricketers is easily our top most priority.

As we build our site, we're received many requests regarding statistics, heights, girlfriends, interviews, controversies or simply cricketing profiles of numerous cricketers in years gone by and soon we'll come up with all information at one single place.

As of now, we've researched & written about a few special cricketers in the list below but in case you are looking for a specific cricketer - write to us at forum.itsonlycricket.com and we'll actively fetch you your information.

India

Ishant Sharma : Lanky fast bowler who first made his name at Perth, Australia in 2007 when he troubled Ricky Ponting for 8 straight overs and got him out off the 9th. This quick learning Delhi speedster was found by then Chairman of selectors Mr Dilip Vengsarkar.

Murali Vijay : Right handed opening batsman with all the strokes in book and a few more. Murali made his debut against Australia at Mohali when Gautam Gambhir received one match suspension.. More chances will soon arrive Murali's way.

Pankaj Singh : is a rare breed of tall fast bowlers from India, we call him Ranjasthan Express. Pankaj Singh plays for Shane Warne's Rajasthan Royals in Indian Premier league.

Praveen Kumar : caught our eye during challengers trophy 2006 and consistent performance the next domestic season - Praveen Kumar played major role in India's triumph in Commonwealth Bank Triseries beating Australia in finals. Praveen can swing both the ball and the bat!

Subramaniam Badrinath : is Mr Cricket of India. He still awaits for a regular seat in Indian National XI but his determination hasn't changed. Tamilnadu batsman is much of a finisher than a strokemaker, and we compare him with Michael Beven of Australia.

S Shreesanth : has talent but a lust for celebrity-ness as well. After promising 2 years, Sree Santh went about several changes in his name's spelling and injury woes only to be thrown out of National team and went on to make Television debut. Cricket still waits for this genuine outswing bowler.

Ramesh Powar : got a surprise call under captaincy of Harbhajan Singh and coaching of Greg Chappell.. 2 years of fine flighted off spin bowling (with a huge tummy) - Ramesh Powar is back to where he's highly regarded - Mumbai's Ranji team.

Ranadeb Bose : broke to limelight upon his selection to National Squad for England tour 2007 but couldn't make his debut. Swing more than speed is Ranadeb's speciality and he's back to Domestic cricket to perfect his already perfected painfully tight line-length "pace" bowling.

Manoj Tiwary : knows opportunities don't come easy.. and he ain't a cricketer to throw it away easily. Sadly, thats exactly what has happened twice when Manoj was first selected for Bangaldesh tour but dislocated his shoulder and got bowled off the 3rd ball he faced from Brett Lee upon his debut months later. Manoj can sweep, smash and bat steadily if required!

Piyush Chawla : is a leg spinner born at the right age when Anil Kumble has retired. More of a conventional leg spinner - this Uttar pradesh under 19 cricketer made first mark on England tour only to lose selectors favour for more experienced Amit Mishra.. chances for Piyush aren't far away.

AUSTRALIA

Dave Whatmore : famous cricketers don't make great coaches.. less celebrity like cricketers win the battle behind the scenes and Dave Whatmore has proved it through his coaching stints for Srilanka and Bangladesh.. Indian coaching is next.

Michael Hussey : is Australia's crisis man.. debuting at age of 29, Hussey has done all hard yards before national call and he's making most of it by averaging higher than any cricketer playing today.

Michael Clarke : is Australia's captain in waiting if & when he outscores Ricky Ponting. Lean & thin cricketer - Clarke certainly has mental ability to lead his country and score difficult runs.

Shaun Tait : is easily the fastest bowler on International arena since Shoaib Akhtar but someone - Aussie selectors has not given him enough opportunities regularly enough that he discovers his International success.

Brad Haddin : waited a long time under Adam Gilchrist's shadows. Haddin is neat behind the wickets and hits strong & straight with bat. Will he match standards set by his peers Gilchrist & Healy?

Adam Gilchrist : got an article on itsonlycricket upon his retirement which he announced overnight during Indian tour. Read out tribute to this best wicket keeper batsman cricket has ever seen.

Brad Hogg : played when no one required him under Shane Warne & Glenn McGrath.. and now when Aussie dominance is fast sliding down - Hogg has retired. Sad but true, Australia miss his left arm chinamans a lot now.

SRILANKA

Chanaka Walegedara : is another left arm fast bowler which srilankan cricket has produced in abundance over the years.. Chanaka is tipped to be in Chaminda Vaas as per his resembling action and accuracy. A MRF pace academy product he is.

SOUTH AFRICA

Gary Kirsten : was a strong minded left handed opening batsman who hated India on his first tour to sub-continent. Luck turned around and this artist with bat went on to become Coach of Indian team and loving every bit of this country now.

Thandi Tshabalala : was inspired by Indian offspinner Harbhajan Singh and since South Africa never had a regular spin bowler - chances flew in to Thandi, which he missed. He's still young enough to break back into Proteas side which has finished quata system for national cricket team.

PAKISTAN

Sohail Tanvir : has an awkward bowling action that batsmen take time to adjust. As Tanvir's days in International cricket move forward, this left handed bowler is fast learning art of swing & accurate bowling. Tanvir is highly regarded by former Pakistan fast bowler Aquib Javed.

ENGLAND

Andrew Flintoff : is easily the best all rounder in cricket of our time. may be the luck hasn't clicked as yet or he is mentally ain't that strong but opposition always fears this Lancashire lad whenever he's playing.

Liam Plunkett : is one of the toughest fast bowler to face if he finds his outswing. Sadly - injury and domestic difficlties has not yet allowed this fine Coach Duncan Fletcher find who could also bat a bit.

Steve Harmisson : was reviewed by Itsonlycricket.com when Indian's were to tour England. We found out that Harmisson has run through sides whenever he has found right bowling length from a 8 foot high bowling arm. Steve is quite fast too.
